Our G.S.P 18K Rose Gold Plating Solution contains 4 grams of gold per litre and plates a deep, reddish tone. It is suited to brush plating, pen plating, and tank plating and requires heating to 40 degrees along with a flash-plate (thin layer) of our G.S.P 24K Gold Solution prior to plating. It is hard-wearing and can be plated to vermeil thickness (2.5 microns). The solution is popular for use on jewellery, luxury handbag accessories and high-end household ornaments.
Typically, rose gold plating solutions can be trickier to work with when compared to solutions such as 24k gold. There is a complex chemical nature to rose gold plating solutions due to the copper content which can burn easily when plated. This is a common problem when working with rose gold solutions of a lesser quality. Our rose gold plating solution is formulated to reduce burning and ensure that plating is much easier and more consistent. This means that our solution is a high-quality option that has been extensively tested to iron out common plating problems when working with rose gold and offers great results.
For optimum performance, use with our G.S.P Brush Plating Probes or 316 Stainless Steel Flat Tank Plating Anodes.
All of our gold plating solutions contain ethically mined gold, more information can be provided upon request.
