The G.S.P Brush Plating Probe / Pen Plating Wand is unique to Gold Solutions Plating and acts as both a brush plating and pen plating wand. When swabbing material* is applied for brush plating, no bare metal on the probe is left exposed, which protects you, your equipment, and the item which you are plating, from shorting.
If you wish to do pen plating, all you need to do is plug your positive lead into the bare end of the probe, and insert the pen plating nib into the insulated end, to form an ideal pen plating wand. When using a plating nib, accurate control can be used when pen plating, and as plating nibs are malleable, you can even cut them to shape, e.g. at an angle, for increased preciseness. This set of 3 probes is ideal for use in multi-step plating processes. Having a separate probe for use with each solution in your process makes organising your equipment easy and speeds up your work. A dedicated probe for each solution also reduces the risk of spoiling your solutions through the accidental transfer of traces of one solution into another.
This product is reliable, simple to use, easy to maintain, and is made from the highest quality, industrial-grade 316 Stainless Steel. In this set, you are supplied with 3 x probes and 120 pen plating nibs. This product is suitable for use with all plating solutions except for our G.S.P 24K Tank Gold Plating Solution.
