Set of 2 electroplating anodes made from high-purity zinc, with accessories. This zinc anode set is designed for tank plating with zinc and is suitable for use with any of the kits from our G.S.P Prodigy and G.S.P Recruit ranges.
This anode set consists of:
2 x Zinc Anodes
1 set of red / black plating leads (complete with crocodile clips)
1 x additional red plating lead with crocodile clip (for connecting anodes)
1 x 1 litre plating tank
Please note: this kit should only be used with our G.S.P Zinc Plating Solution.
You must have a suitable plating machine to use alongside this zinc anode set.
Overview of use
Instructions for use:
Rest against the inside of tank wall and attach red lead (positive) by crocodile clip to the anode. Plastic clips can be used to hold the anodes in place in deeper tanks so that they are not sitting on the floor. To use 2 anodes in a tank, use a spare red (positive) plating lead with crocodile clips on each end.
These anodes are sacrificial, meaning that they will slowly dissolve through use. When the anodes become sufficiently depleted, they will need replacing.
