G.S.P Platinum Plating Solution
Our G.S.P Platinum Plating Solution contains 5 grams of platinum per litre and produces a finish almost as white as rhodium and is almost as hard-wearing. It can be brush and tank plated, is most used by jewellers, and gives a very luxurious finish. For optimum performance, begin with a flash-plate in our 24K Gold solution and use with our G.S.P Brush Plating Probes or 316 Stainless Steel Flat Tank Plating Anodes.
Please note: this solution cannot be used in conjunction with any of the kits in our G.S.P Portal range and is not suitable for pen plating.

Overview of use
Instructions for use of: G.S.P Platinum Plating Solution
Pen plating: N/A
Brush plating: 9 volts
Tank plating: 0.31 amps per cm2
Just like rhodium, platinum requires a very highly polished substrate to look brilliant white. May require post-polishing to remove dark marks from higher current. We recommend the use of G.S.P Compound Polish mixed with G.S.P Gold Polish in a ratio of 1:1 for removing dark marks from plated platinum.
