G.S.P Platinum Plating Solution
Used as a brilliant substitute for rhodium but at a fraction of the cost, our platinum is being used frequently for plating white gold jewellery. Take a look at the composite photograph above which demonstrates how little difference there is between a ring plated in rhodium and a ring plated in our platinum solution. This platinum solution can be plated directly over gold or white gold surfaces and gives great results.
Our G.S.P Platinum Plating Solution contains 5 grams of platinum per litre, and unlike other platinum solutions which commonly plate to a grey tone, this solution has been specially formulated to bring the same bright-white finish as rhodium and has fast become one of our best-selling products, receiving fantastic feedback from our jeweller clients. Our platinum is very hard-wearing, can be brush plated and tank plated, is most used by jewellers, and gives a pristine, luxurious finish that will enhance the luminosity of precious stones such as diamonds.
If plating over metals other than gold or white gold, we recommend beginning with a flash-plate in our 24K Gold solution and the use of our G.S.P Brush Plating Probes or 316 Stainless Steel Flat Tank Plating Anodes for optimum performance.
Please note: this solution cannot be used in conjunction with any of the kits in our G.S.P Portal range and is not suitable for pen plating.
