Set of 2 high-quality 316-grade stainless steel anodes for electroplating. Used for electrocleaning, chrome stripping, nickel activating, stainless steel activating and plating with all of our tank plating solutions.
We only recommend and supply 316 stainless steel anodes for use with the prep chemicals and plating solutions mentioned above, as other grades of stainless steel are commonly known to contaminate solutions and this is the cause of many plating problems.
Please note: these anodes are not compatible with our G.S.P Nickel Plating Solution, G.S.P Electroforming Copper, and G.S.P Zinc Plating Solution. For suitable anodes for plating with copper, nickel, and zinc please browse our accessories section.
Overview of use
Instructions for use:
Rest against the inside of tank wall and attach red lead (positive) by crocodile clip. To use 2 anodes in a tank, bite one end of your spare red lead onto one anode and the other end onto another anode. Do not use anode bags.
Please note: if you are using the anodes for chrome stripping, you must reverse the polarity. Do not use any anodes that have been used for chrome stripping for anything else.
